Tallying 2010 Grammy predictions
Made nearly two months ago
Grammys not swayed by sales or populatiry

Dec. 3, 2009 predicted Taylor Swift would sweep the 2010 Grammys - two months before the event. Looks like Grammys don't care about record sales when Kings of Leon can beat Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Blacked Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga for record of year, a category not predicted in December.

Accurate
Album of the year - Taylor Swift
Best country song - Taylor Swift
Best country album - Taylor Swift
Best pop album - Blacked Eyed Peas
Traditional pop - Michael Buble
Best dance/electronic - Lady Gaga
Rock album - Green Day

Wrong

Song of the Year, Beyonce instead of Taylor Swift. Kanye West MUST have been voting

Female pop vocal - Beyonce over Taylor Swift. Kanye voting again?

Pop Collaboration – Was correct on Colbie Caillat, except I had her with Taylor Swith. It was her collaboration with Jason Mraz that won

Best new artist – Zac Brown Band, I predicted Ting Tings

Best dance went to Gaga instead of Britney

Americana – Levon Helms instead of Bob Dylan

Latino Pop - La Quinta Estación instead of Paulina Rubio

Best country performance by duo or group – said Sugarland, went to Lady Antebellum

Comedy – Steve Colbert instead of George Lopez. Who voted on the Grammys?

Best alternative went to Phoenix over a host of more famous. Who DID vote for the Grammys?

Best Soundtrack – How did this happen; Slumdog Millionaire beat Twilight? What world does the 2010 Grammys live in.

Can’t believe I didn’t predict this, Taylor Swift, Best Female Country Vocal Performance

Ironic the comments about the Grammys show on Twitter were the same for President Barack Obama's State of the Union speech - boring.
