President Barack Obama's 60th day - He's no Kennedy

Today is President Barack Obama’s 60th day in office. I was looking for a Kennedy expert to author this piece. Seems it is spring break everywhere.

From what I’ve been able to piece together, it appears both President Kennedy and Obama’s top agenda was creation of jobs in their first 60 days.

Kennedy worked with Speaker of the House Sam Rayburn to expand the House Rules Committee to 15 during his first 60 days. Doesn’t appear any major legislation was signed within Kennedy’s first 60 days.

On the other hand, President Obama has signed a nearly trillion dollars in economic stimulus plan, more than the entire budget the whole time Kennedy was in office.

Would love to hear from the political junkies more knowledgeable on this.
