The Business Journals are publishing this report, Facebook gained another 24 million unique visitors worldwide in June, raising it to the No. 4 most trafficked web site in the world with 340 million unique visitors, the technology news site TechCrunch is reporting.
Facebook still trails the top three — Google sites, Microsoft sites and Yahoo sites — by a wide margin on a global basis, according to numbers that TechCrunch cites from the digital measurement agency ComScore. According to ComScore, Google sites have 844 million unique monthly visitors worldwide, Microsoft sites have 691 million and Yahoo sites have 581 million.
If you follow Alexa, Facebook is #3. Surprised Facebook’s PR People didn’t go with that. Twitter fell from #10 to #15, is it losing its popularity?
