Arizona State University denying Obama degree – not perception – racism

E.J. Montini of the Arizona Republic said of ASU’s President Jim, I mean Michael, Crow’s decision not to give Obama an honorary degree when he speaks in May before 8,000 graduates, “It has nothing to do with reality. Neither Crow nor those who work for him recognized the importance of perception over reality.”

As a clip on another post on this blog points out, Arizona had Evan Mecham withdraw Martin Luther King Holiday for state workers. Now we have Jim Crow, ASU president keeping his job when he pulls a more racist act. This man should have been canned, sacked, fired, dismissed on Friday. If men can be dismissed for saying “Hey, babe” in the workforce, why isn’t Crow dismissed for blatant racism?

It is another in continuing black eyes for Arizona. Where were the 9/11 terrorist trained to fly – Arizona; where was the Oklahoma City bomber from – Arizona. Which of the western states has the lowest Fortune 500 companies per capita – Arizona. Whose state tourism department is almost exclusively female – Arizona.

  1. Let's call it what it is. Crow has a history of animosity towards minorities from his tenure at Columbia. He orchestrated a bitter discrimination case against prominent Latina Prof. Graciela Chichilnisky that resulted in a 16 year battle due his unyielding bigotry. It ended favorably for her and cost Columbia millions.
He does the same thing here. ASU and his cronies cover it up.

Thank you for an intelligent reply. Evidently you got your degree some place other than ASU. Touche! - That's two syllables, not one as ASU grads thought.
